I love a party with an atmosphere! Just like Russ Abbott*. Whether it’s a black tie do or an informal gathering, I can be there to catch the events. If you’ve gone to the trouble of gathering family and friends together, then it’s worth recording the occasion. Memories fade but photographs last forever.
I will attend birthdays, engagement parties, corporate team building days or any kind of celebration, from baby showers to funeral wakes. I will be amongst your guests, but not intrusive. My aim is to capture the spirit of the occasion, not to be a part of it. To leave you with a permanent record of your celebration and your guests.
I will photograph your guests informally to avoid disturbing their fun, but more formal groupings can be set up if required. From the little children dancing, to the old ones sharing a joke. I will even search out the teenagers hiding in the dark corners. If you have laid on entertainment, I will shoot that too (subject to any restrictions from the artists).
I will also take pictures of the venue, decorations, food and any other special details you have prepared. And of course if there is a special event such as a birthday cake, speech, or presentation, I will be on hand to capture the moment.
Pricing
I charge £100 for the first hour, and £50 per hour thereafter. Afterwards, I’ll put all your images on a CD, ready for printing. You can print them, post them on websites, email them etc as much as you like. You also get a slideshow on DVD and low-resolution versions of both the individual images and the slideshow suitable for use on mobile phones/email/websites.

Do you bring a mobile studio?
No. It’s your party, not mine, so I aim to be as discrete as I can. I’ll just take pictures of your celebrations or event, not be a part of the entertainment.
Will my guests have to pose?
Generally no. I might briefly ask a group to flash me a smile, or turn to face me, but nothing more. I’ll be amongst your guests capturing the events as they naturally unfold, not creating or staging them. Of course, if you would like more wedding-style group shots, then I will give more direction to ensure I’ve got everyone you want in the pictures and they all look good.
How long until we get the photos?
It usually takes 2-3 weeks for me to edit your shoot, create your slideshow and transfer everything to CD and DVD.
Are you insured?
Yes.
When do we pay?
The session fee must be paid before or on the day of the shoot. I won’t start editing the shoot until it is paid in full.
